Description:

Somyeol is a 2D puzzle platformer that challenges players to rescue an almost extinct species of creatures known as Somyeols. The gameplay involves guiding multiple Somyeols simultaneously through intricate levels to reach their safety, blending elements reminiscent of classic jump-and-run titles like Super Mario and Sonic with strategic problem-solving akin to Lemmings.

The Somyeols reside peacefully on their lush green planet, Greensland. However, their world is shattered when a meteor impact disperses them across the universe. Resourcefully vulnerable, they require assistance to regroup and reach a rocket destined to carry them to a new planet. Their hope for a harmonious future hinges on rebuilding their civilization on this new world.

As a player, your task is to control the stranded Somyeols as a cohesive team, ensuring none are left behind. Successfully guiding most of them into the rocket grants you points; accumulating enough points allows you to progress through levels. Saving more Somyeols not only increases your score but also boosts your standing on the global online highscore list.

Somyeol offers four different input methods: accelerometer-based control, one-finger touch, touchscreen interaction, and a simplified control scheme reminiscent of classic GameBoy gameplay. This variety aims to cater to different play preferences and enhance accessibility.
